• DAY 4 Kuranda Today board the famous Kuranda Railway at Freshwater Station. On arrival in Kuranda, there is free time to take a stroll through the famous Kuranda Markets. Return to the lowlands by the Skyrail Cableway. Visit the award-winning Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and learn about this ancient culture through theatre, stage shows and demonstrations. • DAY 5 Great Barrier Reef Join the Sunlover boat and cruise to Moore Reef. View magnificent coral and sea life through the windows of a special semi-submersible craft. There is the opportunity for swimming and snorkeling over the reef (equipment provided). Later enjoy a delicious included tropical buffet lunch. (Buffet Breakfast) (Highlight Lunch)
   
  



• DAY 6 Cairns at leisure Enjoy a day at leisure in Cairns. There is an opportunity for an optional excursion today. Those seeking adventure may try white water rafting, horse riding or maybe even sky diving or chasing the elusive marlin on a fishing charter. Or why not chill out by the pool at your resort. • DAY 7 Atherton Tablelands Climb the high tropical plateau known as the Atherton Tablelands, where lush rainforests, waterfalls and lakes abound. Enjoy a guided cruise with full commentary on the serene crater of Lake Barrine and watch for pelicans and other wildlife. View the famous Curtain Fig Tree and Millaa Millaa Falls. (Buffet Breakfast)
  



• DAY 8 Cairns at leisure Enjoy a day at leisure. Perhaps take an excursion to Cape Tribulation and the spectacular rainforests of the Daintree National Park. An expert guide will take you on a walk and explain some of the fascinating secrets of one of the world''s oldest rainforests. You could also join a guided cruise on the Daintree River for an opportunity to spot the fearless saltwater crocodile! (Buffet Breakfast) 
  



• DAY 9 Depart Cairns Your tour ends today after breakfast. Bid farewell to your Tour Director and fellow traveling companions as we transfer you to Cairns Airport for your return flight home. (Buffet Breakfast)

Guaranteed Room Share

When traveling alone, we understand that some clients do not want to incur the expense of an additional single room supplement. With this in mind, on the majority of our itineraries, Trafalgar offers you the opportunity to purchase these tours on a 'room sharing' basis. We will accommodate you with a fellow passenger of the same sex on a 'twin room' basis (non-smoking rooms only). Please note that regrettably, we cannot guarantee that room mates will be of a similar age group. Even so, it is an enjoyable way to travel and get to make new friends and a positive way to stretch your vacation budget further. If we fail to match you we will provide a single room at no extra cost.
