Day 7 - Florence - Assisi
We drive to the beautiful town of Assisi where a guided walkingtour takes us to the Basilica of St. Francis with time to seeGiotto''s 14th century paintings. Day 8 - Assisi - Pompeii - Sorrento (2 nights)

Day 9 - Sorrento - Isle of Capri excursion

Day 14 - Athens - Cruising

We arrive in Istanbul in the morning and have until the evening toenjoy this fabled city. Day 18 - Cruising - Ashdod - Jerusalem excursion
We dock in Ashdod this morning and drive through the JudeanMountains to Jerusalem, one of the oldest towns in the world. Onarrival we will drive through the New City to the Mount of Oliveswith wonderful views over the Old City. Then on foot we will enterthe Old City and reach the Via Dolorosa, the route Jesus took tohis crucifixion. We see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre thencontinue to the Jewish Quarter and the Wailing Wall, the locationof King Solomon''s Temple wherenow stands the Dome of the Rock. We walk through the Bazaarand have lunch in a restaurant. Afterwards we drive to Bethlehem tovisit the Church of the Nativity and have some free time beforereturning to our ship in Ashdod. Day 19 - Cruising - Port Said - Cairo & Pyramids excursion
We dock in Port Said at the entrance to the Suez Canal. Today wehave a full day excursion to Cairo where we visit the EgyptianMuseum, home of King Tutankhamen''s priceless treasures, discoveredby Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. After anincluded lunch, we drive to see the only remaining Wonder of theAncient World, the great Pyramids of Giza, overlooked by theinscrutable Sphinx. Day 20 - Cruising - Agios Nikolaos, Crete
In the afternoon we arrive at the picturesque port of AgiosNikolaos on the island of Crete.
