Day 3 - Berlin sightseeing and at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour will feature a visit to the CheckpointCharlie Museum and include views of the Reichstag Building,Tiergarten, Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard and theGerman State Opera House. The remainder of the day and your eveningwill be at leisure to do as you please. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - Berlin - Poznan - Warsaw (2 nights)
Our morning journey brings us first to the German border town ofFrankfurt-ander- Oder, then into Poland, stopping at Poznan withits charming City Hall and Gothic churches. Later, we cross thecentral plains to the Polish capital, Warsaw. This evening, afterdinner, why not treat yourself to a Chopin recital in this specialyear when we are celebrating the 200th anniversary of hisbirth. Day 5 - Warsaw sightseeing and at leisure
Today we experience a miracle of reconstruction and conservation.Our guided sightseeing tour reveals the historic center where muchof the old town was rebuilt after the war. Also we see the site ofthe Warsaw Ghetto, so shockingly evoked in Polanski''s recent film,The Pianist. At leisure perhaps visit the Wilanow Palace, residenceof Polish King Sobieski - victor of Vienna. This evening we enjoy aHighlight Dinner in a typical local restaurant. Day 6 - Warsaw - Czestochowa - Auschwitz - Krakow (2 nights)
This morning we drive to Czestochowa to visit the beautiful 14thcentury Paulite Monastery at Jasna Gora. This is the home of theportrait of Our Lady, the ''Black Madonna'', thought to have beenpainted by St. Luke. Next, on a more sombre note, we visit theconcentration camp at Auschwitz with its chilling reminders of theatrocities of World War II. Then on to medieval Krakow. Thisevening, we will enjoy dinner at our hotel. (Buffet breakfast /Dinner) Hotel: Park Inn (2 nights)
Day 7 - Krakow sightseeing and at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour with our local guides reveals thecastle and cathedral on Wawel Hill. Next we enjoy a walking tourthrough the medieval old town to visit the Cloth Hall and theMariacki Church. Now our Tour Director will show us a fascinatingHidden Treasure of the city, and later maybe take an excursion tovisit the astonishing Wieliczka salt mine. This evening, why notenjoy a Polish Polka Party? (Buffet breakfast)
Day 8 - Krakow - Slovakia - Budapest (2 nights)
After breakfast our morning drive takes us into the foothills ofthe Tatra Mountains and we cross into Slovakia. Next we continueinto Hungary to the capital Budapest. (Buffet breakfast) Hotel: Ramada Plaza (2 nights)
Day 9 - Budapest sightseeing and at leisure
Today''s guided sightseeing tour features the main sights of thetwin cities Buda and Pest, including a walking tour of the old townof Buda featuring the Fishermen''s Bastion with its views across theDanube to the Parliament and the Great Synagogue. The rest of theday is at leisure. Perhaps take a trip to Szentendre which is acharming town that has become an artistic center. After dark, whynot discover Eastern Europe''s liveliest nightlife? Tonight, we willenjoy a traditional Hungarian Highlight Dinner with music. (Buffetbreakfast / Highlight dinner)
Day 10 - Budapest - Györ - Vienna (2 nights)
This morning we drive through the Transdanubia region, dotted withorchards and vineyards, to Györ. Founded by the Romans, it hasretained much of its medieval and baroque charm. Here there''s timefor a stroll before we cross the Austrian border to Imperial Viennawhere we spend the next two nights. (Buffet breakfast) Hotel: Hilton Danube (2 nights)
Day 11 - Vienna sightseeing and at leisure
From the Opera to the Hofburg, the State Opera House to St.Stephen''s Cathedral, our guided sightseeing tour reveals thiscity''s elegance. Our included walking tour highlights ''Am Hof'', theoldest and most secret quarter of Vienna. Later, enjoy time atleisure to sightsee further and shop along the fashionableKärntnerstrasse. This evening, why not join an optionalexcursion and head to one of the wine villages to dine at a lively''heurige'' inn? (Buffet breakfast)
Day 12 - Vienna - Tabor - Prague (2 nights)
Today we travel to the town of Schrems and enter Southern Bohemia,driving past Trebon. Next, we visit Tabor, once the headquarters ofthe 15th century religious reformer, John Huss. Day 13 - Prague sightseeing and at leisure

Day 14 - Prague - Pilsen - Nuremberg - Frankfurt (Offenbach)
Today''s drive takes us through the Czech Republic to Pilsen -famous for its beer and Skoda factory. Then we head into westernGermany and on to Nuremberg. Here we see the castle and itsramparts before arriving in Frankfurt for our final night. Tonight,we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together with our Tour Director andtraveling companions.
